Cantabs juniors were in action yesterday at the Champion of the Thames’ Junior Sculling Head, raced over a 1450 m course on the Cam. Sixteen Cantabs crews took part, some of them experiencing their first taste of racing.

Cantabs were successful in both the J13 and WJ13 coxed quads. Well done to Matt Maulder, Matt Nesbit, Harry Charlesworth, Harvey Bourne with Harriet Finlayson coxing, and to Hollie Adams, Freya Sutcliffe, Imogen Forbes, Peony Bracey with Angus Spiers coxing!

Afterwards, 20 of the juniors retired to Pizza Express to replenish their reserves with pizza and dough-balls.
