Cantabs will be running a ‘Not the Winter League’ Timed Piece, primarily aimed at Cambridge based crews that tried and failed to get into this year’s Winter League. If you didn’t try, but fancy joining in, then please also enter but be aware that we will give the failed entries preference.
This will not be an official race, but rather a private match in which crews can progress at race pace and line over the same course as the Winter League. We do not currently intend to award prizes.
We have permission to close the river from 10:30am until 11:30am on Saturday 10th January.
Given that there will be minor expenses (numbers etc) we would ask for a donation of £1 per rower towards these. We do not intend to make a significant profit from the Piece, and would ask that you treat it in that light.
