Cantabs wins at Robs SBH

There were some strong performances from Cantabs crews at Rob Roy Small Boats Head on Saturday 30th September, with wins for both senior and junior rowers.

Georgia and Emma, 2nd in W.IM1.2x

The Senior Women’s Squad put in some good times – the fastest women’s crew of the day was Ellie Darlington and Bailee Stratton, who won W.IM1.2x and finished 8th overall.

The 2nd fastest women of the day were lightweights Georgia Vann and Emma Dalrymple, also racing in W.IM1.2x. Gill Cooper and Judith Weik won W.MasC.2- and also finished as the fastest women’s pair of the day, beating 8 non-masters women’s pairs in the process.

The fastest woman single sculler of the day was Georgie Plunkett, who won W.IM1.1x 13 seconds clear of the 2nd placed sculler.

The fastest male single sculler was Cantabs’ Jimmy Adams, who won both IM3.1x and IM2.1x, with his fastest time seeing him finish as an impressive 3rd fastest of the day. Jon McCree-Grey finished 3rd in IM2.1x, with Andrew Morley and Matt Crowe 3rd and 4th in IM3.1x, respectively.

The Cantabs juniors also enjoyed some wins in J14.1x and J14.2x for the boys and W.J16.1x and W.J16.2x for the girls.
